These terms apply to your use of Nomad Forums (nomadforums.com), operated by Global Networx LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or posting, you agree to them.
1. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Give accurate details and keep your password, or your Google account, secure. You are responsible for what is posted from your account. One person, one account.
2. Information, not advice
Guides and posts on Nomad Forums are general information about visas, residency, citizenship, tax, banking and cost of living. They are not legal, tax, immigration, financial or investment advice. Rules change often and depend on your circumstances. Check the official source or a qualified adviser before you act. We date and source our guides, but we do not guarantee they are complete or current, and we are not responsible for decisions you make based on them.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, copy, adapt and distribute it as part of running and promoting the forum, including after you leave if others have replied to it. You confirm you have the right to post it.
4. Rules of conduct
Do not post anything that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or hateful; that infringes someone else’s rights; or that is spam or undisclosed promotion. Do not post other people’s personal information. Do not offer or advertise services that help people break immigration, tax or sanctions laws. Do not post passport scans, ID numbers or bank details, including your own. Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it, or try to access accounts or systems that are not yours. Our community guidelines add detail.
5. Affiliate links and adviser introductions
Some links on the forum are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them. Some pages may offer an introduction to an independent adviser, and we may be paid a fee for that introduction. Advisers and other providers are independent businesses. We do not supervise them and are not responsible for their services; your agreement is with them. Affiliate arrangements do not decide what our guides say.
6. Reporting illegal content
Anyone, signed in or not, can report content they believe is illegal by using the flag button or by emailing hello@nomadforums.com. Tell us where the content is and why you think it is illegal. We review reports, act where needed, and tell the person who posted it, and the reporter where we can, what we decided and why. You can ask us to review a decision.
7. Moderation and ending your account
We may edit, hide or remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
8. Liability
The forum is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from reliance on forum content, and our total liability to you is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and disputes go to the courts of Cheyenne, Wyoming. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring claims in its courts.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes here and update the date above, and give notice of significant changes by email or a site banner. If you keep using the forum after that, the new terms apply.
