Affiliate disclosure

Nomad Forums is run by Global Networx LLC. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy, we may earn a commission from the provider. It costs you nothing extra, and in some cases you get the same or a better deal than going direct.

How we handle it

  • Recommendations come first. Our guides compare services on cost, eligibility, track record and the experiences members report. A commission never changes what we say about a service, where it ranks, or whether we include it.
  • We list services we have no deal with. If the best option for a situation doesn’t pay us anything, it still goes in, and we still say it’s the best option.
  • Links are labelled. Guides that contain affiliate links say so next to the links, with a link back to this page.
  • Member wikis stay clean. The first post of a member wiki thread contains no affiliate links. Where we have a partner link for a service in a wiki, it goes in a separate staff reply underneath, clearly marked.
  • No paid placements in guides. Providers can’t pay to be included, reviewed or ranked. If we ever run sponsored content or advertising, it will be labelled as sponsored.
  • Adviser introductions. If we introduce you to a tax adviser, lawyer or other professional, we’ll tell you at the time whether we receive a referral fee.

What we never do

  • Accept payment for a positive review.
  • Hide an affiliate relationship.
  • Put affiliate links into tax, legal or immigration figures. Those always link to the official source.
